The large FLORA vase from KPM Berlin gives long-stemmed flowers a perfect appearance. It was designed by the sculptor and designer Siegmund Schütz, who had a decisive influence on the design of modern porcelain at KPM Berlin in the 20th century.
The traditional Kintsugi method can be seen inside through black hairlines, where the original shards were joined together using urushi japanese lacquer and nikawa glue. On the outside, the cracks were painted over with bengara urushi and finished with 23.75 carat rosenoble gold.
